Sacred Threads - A Sanctuary is Born

Something sacred begins.
At 3 o’clock on the 6th June 2025, The Soul Sanctuary officially came into the world — on the very same day I came into this world 54 years ago. That timing is not accidental. It’s a quiet truth I’ve known in my bones for some time now: this sanctuary is not separate from me. It’s an extension of my journey, my healing, my remembering. It has grown from the deepest parts of me — and now, I open it to you.
This space was born not from strategy, but from soul. From the whispers I’ve followed, the stillness I’ve trusted, and the calling I could no longer ignore.
What is The Soul Sanctuary?
It’s a space for those who are seeking something more — something softer, deeper, wiser. A place where we can step out of the noise and into the stillness. A place to return to yourself. A place to feel.
Whether you are drawn to healing, self-discovery, sacred rest, or simply the permission to breathe, The Soul Sanctuary is here to meet you exactly where you are.
About Me
If we haven’t met yet, welcome. I’m so glad you're here. My path has been woven with many threads: growth, loss, transformation, and return. Like many, I’ve walked through shadows, sought meaning, and found healing not in quick fixes but in presence, ritual, and soul connection. It’s from this place that I now hold space for others.
Why a Blog?
This blog will be the heart journal of the sanctuary — a place to share stories, soul musings, seasonal wisdom, practices, and the quiet things we don’t always say out loud. Some posts will be reflections. Some may feel like letters. Some will offer gentle guidance, invitations, or reminders.
Think of it as a fire you can return to — for warmth, for light, or simply to sit beside and be.
An Invitation
If your heart feels even a little flutter here stay a while. Subscribe to Whispers from the Sanctuary, the monthly newsletter, where I’ll share soul nourishment, offerings, and quiet reminders to support your path.
And if you ever need a pause, a perspective, or a place to soften, this sanctuary will be here. For you. With you.
Thank you for being here at the beginning. I don’t take it lightly. I believe we find spaces like this when we’re meant to.
With love, Deborah Founder, The Soul Sanctuary
